Learning New Things...

The last 37 days have been packed with learning new things & travel,South Carolina back to Kentucky  then to Arizona back to Kentucky.

My trip down to South Carolina to see my beautiful mom undergo amputation of her right leg, under the awesome care of my beautiful & caring sister and caring brother in law, Butch.Their  care can only be explained by God working through them to take care of one of His children. What did I learn? More in love with the Creator, to see how fearfully and wonderfully made we truly are. Not only observing my mom, but my sister, Donna  took me to an exhibit at the museum that displayed all these amazing systems that work inside us giving us the precious gift of life from our Creator!  The intricate systems and back up systems...wow!!!

Back to Kentucky  to begin my Emergency Medial Training (EMT) class, which will last through May of this year. Learning things that my brain is not use to, only God can help me here...

Off to Arizona for a week of Community Health Evangelism (CHE) training, which was awesome! The goal of Community Health Evangelism (CHE) is to establish a development ministry whose purpose is to bring together Jesus’ Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20), and the Great Commandment (Matthew 22:37-40). This is accomplished by training community members as Community Health Evangelists (CHEs) who regularly visit 10 – 15 neighboring households sharing the gospel and promoting principles of disease prevention and healthy living.
The program is designed to be transferable, multipliable, and ongoing in the absence of any particular individual or team that God used as a catalyst among the local people. more on this later...

Back to Kentucky to resume my EMT studies an try to adapt CHE to our ministry model at Kingdom Driven Ministry (KDM).

So there you have it a run down on the last 37 days. Praise our King Jesus for His favor. God is awesome!!!

HE Leads me, the Journey Continues

God is so amazing I have no doubt He will take care of every need as I go. He laid Uganda on my heart a couple of years ago and I felt He would led me in some way to serve in Africa, probably Uganda. I have been invited to join with Kingdom Driven Ministry that will be based near Kitale , Kenya, (near the border of Uganda). So Dec 30th 2011 is my last day at my job in the real estate world. Now I can devote more time to seek The Kingdom of our  Abba Father & Jesus His Son, my Savior & King by the leading of His Holy Spirit.

God is awesome & has blessed me immensely to favor me with a Journey to Africa

Nov. 26, 2009 sometime after 10 PM local time in East Africa…

I arrive in Africa…wow….Africa can this be real??? The plane lands at the Entebbe airport in Uganda hmmmm God is so awesome!!!! He has granted me something very special & most wondrous! I do not know why He has favored me with this blessing, but I am so GRATEFUL He did!!! My soul does magnify the Lord to think on all His wondrous ways & mercies! Oh bless the Lord o my soul!

My journey from Kentucky, USA to Uganda was 24 hours, but it did not feel like 24 hours. Upon departing from the plane…in Africa…wow… I am wondering how customs works here and then I catch a glimpse of a lady holding a sign with my name it…hmmm I was not expecting this…okay I go to her she guides me through the entrance of the airport as she motions for another official looking lady, who comes over & takes my passport & wisk me to the front of the line at customs …I look at the guy I just went ahead of apologetically , but grateful that she is escorting me through & handling everything …all I have to do is follow. This is my first introduction to my dear, wonderful, beloved Uganda brother Steve’s Uncle Chris’ hospitality.
I was lead to a room where my beloved brother in Christ &best friend, Steve and his uncle Chris were waiting for me....
