Is there a battle going on in your mind? Satan ( also called the devil ) wants to keep you in confusion. So let's see how we can start to
defeat the enemy's confusion,
by the power of God and His son Jesus and the Holy Spirit!
Question: What did Jesus do when confronted by Satan with temptation?
Answer: He used scripture to battle the lies of the devil.
read Matthew 4:1-12 ( I have it below or you can look it up in your Bible)
Satan Tempts Jesus
4 Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. 2 And when He had fasted forty days and forty nights, afterward He was hungry. 3 Now when the tempter came to Him, he said, “If You are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread.”
4 But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’”
5 Then the devil took Him up into the holy city, set Him on the pinnacle of the temple, 6 and said to Him, “If You are the Son of God, throw Yourself down. For it is written:
‘He shall give His angels charge over you,’
and,
‘In their hands they shall bear you up,
Lest you dash your foot against a stone.’”
7 Jesus said to him, “It is written again, ‘You shall not tempt the Lord your God.’”
8 Again, the devil took Him up on an exceedingly high mountain, and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. 9 And he said to Him, “All these things I will give You if You will fall down and worship me.”
10 Then Jesus said to him, “Away with you, Satan! For it is written, ‘You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only you shall serve.’”
11 Then the devil left Him, and behold, angels came and ministered to Him.
If Jesus our Savior and the Son of God, who could have called thousands of angels to battle for Him, used scripture to fight the devil, then we should too.
Dearest please look at what Jesus is showing us here. We can do battle and win against the devil and his evil dark forces, when we use God's word and Jesus as our example.
The devil is a liar and he is good at it. He even twisted scripture to try to trick Jesus. Jesus recognized a lie when He heard it, because He knew the truth so well. We can too by following Jesus example in all parts of our life.

Dear friends,
I know there are many scriptures in the New Testament that that tell us about spiritual warfare and how to deal with it, but we must always start with JESUS, the Author and Perfecter of our faith as our Teacher and Example to follow. Everything else in the Bible flows from & follows Him. He is the Alpha and the Omega. HE is The KING of kings.
He is JESUS the Anointed One from The FATHER. Amen
